Danna Garcia is a Columbian actress and recording artist, who started her career in the entertainment industry when she was four. When Danna was in her 20s, she formed a band called “Café Moreno” with her sister Claudia and recorded the album “Momposino”, which gained triple-platinum in 1994. Although the sisters were both shocked to find their first album at the top of the charst, Danna Garcia saw this as an opportunity to pursue an acting career, particularly when she was selected to be a part of “Café con aroma de mujer”, a Columbian telenovela. She was also a cast on the daytime drama “Al norte de Corazon”, making her the first Columbian actress to ever be cast in a Mexican telenovela.

After gaining a huge fan base in both her hometown in Colombia and in Mexico, Danna Garcia landed a prominent role on the very successful program “Pasion de Gavilanes”. By 2006, Maybelline New York signed Danna to become their newest Hispanic spokesperson for their TV and print ads. After becoming a model for “Garnier Fructis” and endorsing the company’s other hair products, Danna Garcia became a popular face in North America as well.

With an audience ever-growing, Danna was named the most beautiful face in People Espanol. Some of her television appearances include “Lola Calamidades”, “Un Gancho Al Corazon”, “La Tracion”, “Decisiones”, “Corazon partido”, “Te Voy a Ensenar a Ouere”, “La Revancha”, “Habla me de Amor”, “Perro Amor”, “El Dia es Hoy”, “Victoria”, and “Imaginate”. It is her transition to Mexican telenovela that made her recognized by an entirely different and new audience and it wasn’t long before she caught herself being offered with high-profile opportunities. With all her achievements at a young age, Danna Garcia gained an admirable reputation and became one of the most recognizable Columbians worldwide.
